This is one of the oldest genres that exist and of which, if you are followers, you can not miss the best pc adventure games that we talk about below.

Before starting, we clarified that here we highlight the best pc adventure games that, in our opinion, are the top. Now is the time to take our climbing ropes, swords, and saddles, and embark on the best pc adventure games.

Best PC Adventure Games

1. Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow

Dead Synchronicity Tomorrow adventure game

One of the best things that Fictionmania Studios has done is to mix the purest classicism of the graphic adventures in their mechanics with the most current narrative of games like Telltale Games in which their arguments are mature, adult and sometimes with touches in the mood. In Dead Synchronicity Tomorrow the laughter is conspicuous by its absence and, as we get into the plot, it becomes increasingly hard, giving a lot to think.

2. Horizon Zero Dawn

Horizon Zero Dawn game

It is a post-apocalyptic adventure in which humanity lives in the wild and dominated by robotic creatures. Although the game was scheduled for release in 2016, Sony revealed that Horizon Zero Dawn will be released on March 1, 2017, for sale in Europe. The video game is sold in several different editions: the standard edition, the limited edition, and the collector’s edition, the latter with the figure of Aloy, the protagonist. The title is also available in digital format through the PS Store.

Horizon Zero Dawn was unveiled at the Sony conference during E3 2015. The protagonist of the game is Aloy, a young archer, and hunter who is improving their skills as we progress in the adventure. The role-playing elements of the video game have been defined as a mix of the Assassin’s Creed saga and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

3. For Honor

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal and announced at E3 2015, it is a video game of action in the third person with a medieval setting and with strategic and RPG components. He allows us to put ourselves in the shoes of three different types of soldiers: medieval knights, samurai or Vikings, and participate in spectacular sword fighting, both in the single-player campaign and in the online mode. Honor has a very original combat system and a bright visual section.

4. Grim Fandango

A classic adventure, but with the attraction of a unique setting, based on the day of the dead of Mexican and Aztec cultures mixed with all kinds of references to black cinema, and topped with a sublime artistic design. For many players,  Grim Fandango is the last great exponent of the graphic adventures, a game that both for setting, as for his script or for graphic design, deserves a gap of honor in the genre. Since 2015, it is possible to enjoy a remastered version, Grim Fandango Remastered.

5. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands

The tenth video game of the Ghost Recon saga is also the first to be developed in an open sandbox world. In this military “shooter” we can play alone or cooperatively for up to four players. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands takes us to the near future, in which Bolivia has become the largest producer of cocaine in the world. The Santa Blanca cartel has turned the country into a narco-state. Our mission as Ghost is to stop this situation at all costs. For this, we can customize our character, their weapons, and equipment. Throughout the adventure, we have access to 60 different vehicles.

6. Life is Strange

Life is Strange is a graphic adventure with light touches of interactive that, after its unexpected success, jumped to the physical format with subtitles in Spanish and in a limited edition that includes as extras a section with comments from the director, a 32-page art book and its fantastic soundtrack. Many may be surprised that we talk about graphic adventure, but, although it is not the classic point & click, try to imitate those mechanics and, in addition, it includes much more exploration than the adventures of Telltale Games, as well as a multitude of puzzles.

7. Uncharted The lost legacy

The new installment of the saga, developed by Sony and Naughty Dog, moves away from the main character, Nathan Drake, to enter a story full of adventure with Chloe Frazer and the famous mercenary Nadine Ross. In this new video game story, known in other countries as  Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy, the characters go into India in search of the legendary Ganesh Fang. They must learn to work as a team to fight against all kinds of enemies in order to prevent chaos from taking over the region.

8. Maniac Mansion II Day of Tentacle

Although Life is Strange uses temporary powers of the hand of Max, its protagonist, 22 years before, Tim Schafer already thought about time travel. Only using a toilet. This is  Day of the Tentacle: an odyssey through time and space in which some of the best gags that we have seen in a video game follow one another. For more information on the second part of Maniac Mansion, a game created by Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick in 1987.

9. Yakuza 0

This installment tells the origin of the story of Kazuma Kiryu, the emerging Dragon of Dojima, and Goro Majima, before being known as the Mad Dog of Shimano, when they fought, cheated, flirted and danced through the sordid sub-world of Japan. Kamurocho’s hostile but electric Tokyo in December 1988 serves as the backdrop for the rise of the Dojima Dragon.  Yakuza 0 makes us witness how Kazuma Kiryu, the protagonist of the Yakuza saga, it rises and rises in the ranks of the criminal gangs that dominate Japan’s underworld. Yakuza 0 is an action adventure in the third person and open world in which apart from the main plot, we have a great freedom to perform other secondary missions or mini-games. The game features voices in Japanese and texts and subtitles in English.

10. The Secret of Monkey Island

The Secret Of Monkey Island is a graphic adventure originally published by LucasFilm Games in October 1990, where pirate stories are parodied, creating a world of humor that revolutionized the genre. It is the graphic adventure par excellence and its success was such that it caused four more sequels to be made: Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge, The Curse of Monkey Island, Escape from Monkey Island and Tales of Monkey Island.

11. Shadows of War

Middle Earth: Shadows of War widens the  Nemesis system seen in the first game. That is to say, all the environments and characters are influenced by the decisions and actions that we take as players, creating a personal and unique world with each game. For example, enemies are generated procedurally, remembering each confrontation and having different personalities, strengths, and weaknesses, among other possibilities. The history of the video game is set between the events of the films  The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, presenting an original story with familiar places and new characters to discover.

12. The Walking Dead Season 1

The Walking Dead Season 1 is one of the most famous games of Telltale Games. The adventure starring Lee and Clementine not only conquered the players but also the critics by winning more than 80 awards since its premiere thanks, in part, to their way of telling the story and the ethical decisions that it raises. The Walking Dead takes place in the same world as comics, Georgia, when the zombie apocalypse begins. However, most of the characters are original and only three of the ones that appear are also in the comics. For more information, here is our analysis of The Walking Dead Season 1.

13. Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice

The argument of  Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice could well be a metaphor as the game developed. The story of Senua, a Celtic warrior, who enters enemy territory to carry the head of her beloved Dillion, is also the triumph of a fragile character in a very hostile environment. Senua combat, explore and prevail in the dark lands of the North. like  Ninja Theory (the same studio that developed Heavenly Sword, DMC or Enslaved Odyssey To The West ) is able to make its way into a territory covered by games AAA, with an “indie” development.

14. The Wolf Among Us

The Wolf Among Us proposes to us to solve a series of mysterious crimes that are happening in the city of New York. Here the murdered are not normal people, but storytelling fables and, us, the Big Bad Wolf. Telltale Games sustains the five chapters with great mastery, although as it usually happens in these games that are divided by episodes, there are some better ones and others worse. In the adventure of  Bigby Wolf, only one of them weakens a little as intensity, but the other four maintain the bar very high, thus becoming one of the best adventure games on PC today.

15. Cuphead

Cuphead is one of the best Xbox One games of the year, a unique experience, intoxicating and full of charisma, that will keep you hooked from start to finish. You have to play with patience and in moderate doses (I promise I’ll get a callus on my thumb from so much shooting), but if you are not afraid of hardcore challenges, you’ll enjoy a cup loaded with the best gameplay.

We are a team of Gamers behind the BestGamesMag and we love to provide you the best list in term of gaming so you can always enjoy Best Games.
